We are pleased to announce Jay Minus was elected as ADLA Director for District IV, Will Gamble was elected as President Elect of the ADLA Young Lawyers Section, and Beth Lee was elected as ADLA Young Lawyers Section Director.

Day joined Lyons, Pipes & Cook in September of 2005, after having clerked with the firm for two summers.

Day graduated from the University of the South (“Sewanee”) in 1999, magna cum laude, with honors and was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa. Day obtained his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama in 2005. While attending law school, Day was Vice President of the Public Interest Institute and served on the Intellectual Property Moot Court team, finishing second in the nation in the 2005 competition for best team and best oral advocate.

Day was admitted to the Alabama Bar in September of 2005 and is certified to practice before U.S. District Courts of Alabama in the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts. Day's practice focuses on general litigation.
