We are pleased to announce Jay Minus was elected as ADLA Director for District IV, Will Gamble was elected as President Elect of the ADLA Young Lawyers Section, and Beth Lee was elected as ADLA Young Lawyers Section Director.

Practice Areas: Insurance Coverage and Employment Law.

Caroline has been with the firm since 1984, when she started as a summer clerk. She is actively involved in the management of the firm.

Caroline was born in Jackson, Mississippi and grew up in south Louisiana. She received her B. A. degree, cum laude from Southern Methodist University in 1983 and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1986. Her practice concentrates on insurance coverage and employment law.

While in law school, Caroline coauthored "Parents, Psychologists & Child Custody Disputes: Protecting the Privilege and the Children" Issue 37:2 Alabama Law Review. She was senior editor of the Alabama Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif and as a Hugo Black Scholar. Caroline also received the M. Leigh Harrison Award for academic performance and meritorious legal research and writing.

Caroline is a member of the Mobile Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, American Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Alabama State and Federal Courts. She is also a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.

Caroline is married to Brian McCarthy and they have three children. She is involved in numerous community organizations and is an active member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, where she has served on the administrative board and chaired various committees and counsels.
