Sara Elizabeth Lee is going to be speaking at a CLE scheduled for May 20, 2008 in Mobile at the Radisson Admiral Semmes Hotel. The CLE, entitled "The Art of the Settlement," is sponsored by National Business Institute. The topics she will be presenting include: "How to Succeed at Settlement Conferences," "Using Mediation When Settlements Don't Work," and participation in a mock settlement negotiation.

Lyons, Pipes & Cook is pleased to announce that A. Kelly Sessoms, III and Barry W. Andrews have joined the firm as partners. Mr. Sessoms will practice in the firm's Mississippi office and Mr. Andrews will practice in the firm's Mobile office.

Practice Areas: Corporate Transaction, Real Estate.

While attending Spring Hill College, Robert clerked for the Honorable John Lockett and was employed at Regions Bank. Upon graduating from Spring Hill, Robert received a Toolen Award-the equivalent of Valedictorian, the Ralph McClain Essay Award, Special Recognition for his work on the SGA, and was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, a Jesuit honor society recognizing students committed to serving the community. Robert attended law school at the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school Robert received the Harold A. Brown Jr. Award, in recognition of his outstanding academic achievement in the study of Labor and Employment Law. Robert obtained the highest grades in his classes for Advanced Will Drafting and Labor Law, as well as the highest letter grades obtainable for Real Property Security Devices, Family Law, Federal Civil Procedure, Torts, and Business Ethics.

Robert returned to Lyons, Pipes & Cook after clerking for two summers during law school. When not working, Robert enjoys fresh and saltwater water fishing, hunting, and golfing. Robert, his wife Alicia, and their son Cain are all Mobile natives and members of St. Pius X Parish.
