We are pleased to announce Jay Minus was elected as ADLA Director for District IV, Will Gamble was elected as President Elect of the ADLA Young Lawyers Section, and Beth Lee was elected as ADLA Young Lawyers Section Director.

Lara attended Samford University and Auburn University for her undergraduate education, where she obtained Associate and Bachelor Degrees in Nursing. After working as a Registered Nurse from 1996-2001, Lara received her J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law in 2004. Lara began practicing law as an associate with Friedman, Leak, Dazzio, Zulanas & Bowling, P.C. in Birmingham, Alabama in 2004. She practiced in the areas of insurance, defense litigation, medical liability, construction litigation, and architect and engineering liability. She joined Lyons, Pipes & Cook as an associate in December 2006.

Lara is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Alabama. Currently, she is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Birmingham Bar and the American Bar Association. Lara is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Alabama.
