Sherri was born in Los Angeles, California and graduated from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She attained her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1996.

Sherri was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1996 and the Alabama State Bar in 2006. She is admitted to practice in all of the United States District Courts for Alabama and California as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Sherri's practice focuses on insurance defense, products liability, aviation, personal injury and premises liability. Sherri has litigated cases in both State and Federal Courts, and she has trial experience in complex aviation litigation. She is the author of "The Yielding Jurisdictional Hierarchy," which appeared in the Federal Lawyer in August 2004.

Sherri is currently a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the Mobile County Bar Association, the Baldwin County Bar Association, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA) , the California State Bar, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the Aviation Insurance Association and Manufacture Alabama.

Sherri resides in Spanish Fort, Alabama with her husband, Stephen, and her daughters Katherine and Eleanor.
