Sara Elizabeth Lee is going to be speaking at a CLE scheduled for May 20, 2008 in Mobile at the Radisson Admiral Semmes Hotel. The CLE, entitled "The Art of the Settlement," is sponsored by National Business Institute. The topics she will be presenting include: "How to Succeed at Settlement Conferences," "Using Mediation When Settlements Don't Work," and participation in a mock settlement negotiation.

Tom is a partner and member of the Management Committee of the firm. Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Tom has been practicing law with LPC since graduating from law school. He is the senior tax lawyer in the firm and has practiced before Probate Courts, State Courts, U. S. District Courts and Tax Court.

Tom graduated from University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics in 1970 and served as an officer aboard the U. S. S. Lexington in 1970-71. He then obtained his J. D. degree from Cumberland Law School in 1974 and received his LLM in taxation from New York University in 1975. He is a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. He was an Alabama Bar Examiner in Wills, Trusts and Estates and Federal Income Taxation from 1981-1985; President of the Mobile Estate Planning Council from 1991-1992; Member of the Annual Tax Institute, Alabama Bar Institute for Continuing Legal Education; former Board Member and President (2002) of the Alabama Federal Tax Clinic. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. His practice focuses on estate planning; personal, estate and corporate tax issues; real estate transactions including tax free exchanges, qualified compensation plans including ESOPS, and foreign tax planning.

Tom is a member of the Vestry of Christ Episcopal Church and is married to the former Susan Price of Evergreen, Alabama and they have four children.
